Fine art reproduction that Reaches the depth and color saturation of richest originals Pure skin tones and luscious deep red lips Black and White with no Bronzing The rich colors of Van Gough reproduced with depth and vibrancy.

Symphonic Ultra Max is a break through in technology. It offers numerous benefits of Maximum Saturation, Maximum Longevity, and Maximum Flowability under unfavorable atmospheric conditions of low humidity at various temperatures.

Ultra Max also offers a huge color pallet for 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 colors to suite any multi-channel  printer. It is one ink set that can run on any Piezo Epson, Mimaki, Roland, and Mutoh Printer.

This also means that with One ink set you can print everything from outdoor Signage to Fine Art.

Unlike Epson inks, where K3 is richer on gloss and Ultrachrome is richer on Matte, but neither are cross compatible nor can they run on Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh, the Epson 10000, or any of the older Epson Printers. Symphonic Ultra Max can run on all of these printers.

Ultra Max will dispel the stigma of third party inks. While it will save you a great deal of money, it is not a cheap ink. So if you want cheap, don't call us, but if you want the best at a good price with incomparable results and the most comprehensive technical support, this is for you. Simple Tech Talk

Understanding how ink is used in printing will help you appreciate our ink technology.

Imagine having a powerful engine in your car. When you need to accelerate you have the power, but most of the time your cruising along. A good engine can save you money and give you the dynamic power you need.

Symphonic formulas are powerful like that. They are highly concentrated and offer two very special benefits, greater saturation and lower cost.

Now here is the key:

Because most every media can not absorb100 percent of each color ink (400%), the software whether from Epson or a third party Rip reduces the amount of each color ink used; therefore, reducing the full rich potential of each color. Symphonic inks are made to a greater saturation so that when they are reduced they are rich enough to produce deep rich vibrant colors, but when they are not needed to produce such depth of color the amount of ink usage drops dramatically saving you a greater amount of money.

Where the focus has been only on 4 color inks with variations of Black Ink, we have created the most exotic pallet of colors to reach a color gamut not previously achievable. Look at our 8 and 12 color pallet. To this end we have had special features added to our Evolution Rip to take advantage of this new approach.

Saturation and Vibrancy:

Our pigments are chosen for a number of reasons. One, is for their perceptual quality of superior reflectivity and vibrancy. Symphonic inks are highly saturated and blended to reach greater depth and vibrancy. This accomplishes greater gamut and more lifelike images.

Bronzing:

Bronzing comes from diluting standard Black Ink. As Carbon Pigment Black ink is diluted becomes Brownish and reflects different than Pigment colors, which give the appearance of what is called Bronzing. Symphonic Light Blacks are melted with special pigments to remove any effect of Bronzing. These pigments have the highest rating of light fastness, maintaining the highest standard of longevity.

Light Fastness:

Light fastness of inks directly relates to the light fastness of the pigments chosen. Each pigment has a rating from 1 to 9. Carbon Pigment Black being 9 the gage used to establish the highest longevity. Symphonic Pigments have the highest ratings and blended to enhance reflectivity and increase longevity. These inks are intended for outdoors as well as for archival keeping properties. If you have seen a red Ferrari, you will note the intensity of red as well as the fact it stays red. The choice of pigments play a significant roll in the results.  You can expect to achieve well over 120 years indoors and maximum longevity in outdoor conditions. With stable high quality media the expected life indoors can reach closer to 200 years.

Cost in Production:

Even though we have made a richer ink, the cost per square foot is far less than the OEM (printer manufacturer). Symphonic ink will reduce your cost to about 18 cents a square foot, while allowing you to produce beautifully brilliant prints.
